Kiang West National Park

Gambia's largest protected wildlife area, short ride from Tendaba. Waterbuck, warthog, various primates — red colobus monkeys, baboons — and hundreds of bird species in virtually untouched savanna. Less managed than Fathala: raw and unpolished. Only accessible with an official guide. Half day gives you an impression, full day offers rest and better chances for remarkable sightings.
